Locally Owned and Operated in Kalispell MT
CMG Engineering Inc is locally owned and operated in Kalispell Montana by John Ayers, P. E. Since 2005 our goal has been to provide unbiased and accurate test results throughout Northwest Montana in the field and the in the lab. To ensure we achieve this status, we keep up on our laboratory accreditation and AASHTO, ASTM, and MDT test methods are closely adhered to.
We work on a variety of project types, including Subdivisions, Commerical Buildings, Hotels, Airports, Roadways and Federal Highway Projects. We are currently working on Glacier National Airport Expansion, FHWA Yellowstone National Park Bridge, Glacier National Park and multiple local projects.
Fully Accredited Laboratory
Our Laboratory is American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO), ASTM and Cement and Concrete Reference Laboratory (CCRL) Accredited. To achieve these accreditations, we have AASHTO inspectors calibrate and check the condition of our equipment every other year. We are also involoved in AASHTO Reference Sample Program. We recieve sampes periodically to test according to the test methods. Our results are then compared to other accredited labs across the country.
Some of our highlighted equipment is the Hamburg Wheel Tracking, Micro Deval, Pine Gyratory, Thermo Lyne Encat and Instrotek Coredry Machines.
Certificated Staff
Our team consists of one Professional Engineer and multiple skilled Technicians Certified in National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technolgies (NICET), American Concrete Institute (ACI), International Code Council (ICC) and American Welding Society (AWS).
